Back to Pawpaw Home Page | Back to Audio & Video Page The Pawpaw Song and DanceThird grade students at South Vienna Elementary School, in South Vienna, Ohio, learned the Pawpaw Patch song and dance through a combined effort by their Physical Education and Music teachers. Mrs. Jean Ark (P.E.) and Miss Jeni Nichols (Music) taught an interdisciplinary unit of Folk Dance. On February 25, 1999, a tape was made of the class's performance of the song and dance.
