Projects
Currently,
I am investigating the genetic relationships among various species from the
genera Asimina and Annona using ISSR primers.
I am also working on developing SSR primers for pawpaw that will also be
used to investigate genetic relationships among species from Asimina and Annona.
These primers will also be used to compare diversity of pawpaw patches
containing tetraploid and triploid plants to plants in KSU’s repository.
I also serve as a mentor to undergraduate students working in the
molecular biology lab at KSU.
