James Tidwell elected President of
World Aquaculture Society!

Dr. James H. Tidwell, Coordinator of Aquaculture Programs at Kentucky State University, has been elected President of the World Aquaculture Society. This is the world’s largest professional society devoted to aquaculture, with members in over 90 countries around the globe. Tidwell was installed as President-Elect in May 2000 at the annual meeting in Nice, France.  He will serve one year as President-Elect before being installed as President at the annual meeting in Orlando, Florida in February 2001.  Tidwell has been at KSU for over 13 years and has previously served as President of the U.S. Aquaculture Society.
