All presenters, whether a scientist or student, intending to make an oral or poster must submit an Abstract Form. The guidelines must be followed explicitly as the abstracts will be published in the official Program and the subsequent Proceedings. Each presenter must submit a hard paper copy of the Abstract Form signed by the Research Director and either a disk copy or e-mail copy of each abstract. The signed Form and disk or e-mail abstract must be received by December 1, 1999. Faxed submissions will not be accepted. Mail Abstract Forms and disks to:

Abstracts should follow this example. The first
letter of each word in the title is capitalized. In multi-authored abstracts, the name of
presenter must be followed by an asterisk *. Use first names or initials before last
names. Follow with a full address without abbreviations, except for the two letter state
designation. Use italics for scientific names, like Homo sapiens. The abstract
should not exceed 250 words. WordPerfect is the preferred word-processing software, and
Times New Roman is the preferred font. Remember to submit a hard copy with your
Directors signature and disk copy. The disk can contain one or all abstracts from
your institution.
Slide and overhead projectors will be provided. Presenters are responsible for providing any other equipment they need, including slide carousels.
